Usually, when using survey decorators, when you zoom out far enough, they turn off so you can see what you're doing without text covering everything. However, occasionally, no matter how far you zoom out, they won't disappear. The only way I've found to fix it so far is a complete restart of OpenRoads. Is there any way to fix this issue? Multiple people in my department have been experiencing this.

Move point without changing elevation?

I'm looking for a way to move a point without changing the elevation. I have tried selecting the point, selecting the move tool, and then clicking on a blank area for my base point, making sure I'm not snapping to anything, and doing the same to place the point. I have also tried snapping to the point to move it. Both of these ways change the final elevation. Just wanting to not have to copy the elevation and paste it back in every time I move a point.

Is there a way to keep cells 2D? Instead of rotating with the view.

Looking for a way to keep cells 2D, or flat. Trying to truth a point cloud, and it makes it difficult when rotating the view and the cell stays facing the view instead of up.

How to force certain settings

Looking for a way to force Coincident World for attach method, as well as set the default text/leader style.

For coincident world, I have checked that both MS_REF_COINCIDENTWORLD is set to one, as well as MS_REF_DEFAULTSETTINGS has AttachMethod=CoincidentWorld included. I've tried changing that variable to AttachMethod=World, as I've seen also recommended, but it always defaults to "Interactive".

For the styles, I have created text and leader styles I would like to use with every dgn, but I haven't found a way to force those styles as default. Right now, it defaults to Style (none) for both.

How to export points to .txt file?

I feel like I'm missing something obvious. Looking for a way to export points to a .txt file with Point Number, Northing, Easting, Elevation, and Code as the format.

Also, it would be helpful if the linking codes would export as well. That way the linework would come in correctly to our field crews DC if needed.

How to have Properties, Explorer re-open when opening OpenRoads

I have Properties, Explorer, and Level Display dragged over to a second monitor. Whenever I open OpenRoads, I have to re-open these windows every time. Is there a way to have them automatically open every time?

Is there an equivalent to "Layer Translate" from AutoCAD in OpenRoads?

For example, our survey department uses different linestyles/colors than our engineering department, so we use Layer Translate to shift everything to their format. Is there an equivalent to that in OpenRoads?

Is there a way to add a feature to a terrain model without the whole model retriangulating? ORD CE 2021 R1

I am aware that I can add a border to stop the edge tringles from getting rebuilt, but after adding any feature, the whole terrain model rebuilds and drops all interior edits that have been made (eg, flipping triangles). This makes it difficult when receiving field data on a day-by-day basis.
