When I do this I make a saved view in my 3D model that I use when placing the reference in the sheet space. Then I turn on "plot as 3D" in the reference dialog.

When I print the drawing there seems to be a 3D space that you would normally find in a 3D PDF, but it is completely empty. No geometry is shown.

I have had this problem on multiple projects and I cannot figure out what I am doint wrong. Anyone had this happen to them?

I have created a time schedule in Microstation and exported it to 3D PDF.

It seems to work fine for all of the constructive elements of my time schedule but the destructive elements do not turn off in the 3D PDF. Is it not possible?

AECOSIM Dataset Explorer - Hatch Patterns not working

Hi I am using AECOSIM SS6 and I am having issues getting hatch patterns to work from the Dataset explorer. At the moment I have the default NM dataset but I am also getting the same results from the USM dataset.

I can get the fill, cross hatch and hatch to work, but as soon as I pick a cell for the hatch I get nothing. I am using this for dynamic views. The cells are all loaded and if I manually hatch they work fine. (Same Scale and settings)

What am I missing?

Thank you,

I know that I could technically take this information out through Family/Part & quantify, but it would be so much simpler if it could be done via. instance data. So that I can have all of my quantity data in one place. Another reason this would be great, is that datagroup data is exported into the 3D PDF and .imodel format. Where Family / Part data is not.

These are special elements that cannot be made with the ABD tools. I don't care about length/height and so on. Only volume.
