Very new user.

I created the incoming road and the intersection using breaklines. The issue I am running into is that the road coming into the approach has a 6" pavement depth and the intersection has 10" I wanted to model this correctly so I have 2 different terrain models for the 2 separate pavement depths. When I created the first one (incoming road) I just drew in a horizontal geometry line where the pavement depth changes and added that line and the edge of pavement as the boundary and then the centerline geometry as breaklines.

The problem is, when I do it on the intersection portion, I add the edge of pavement as boundary and then add centerline. It triangulates the entire centerline, not just the portion that is in the intersection. So it triangulates all the way back into the incoming road. Is there a way to clip these portions out? I am not sure if this is the best practice but it's what I have right now and need to get it pretty close.

I am attempting to model depressed approaches into my design and need some help. I've attached screenshots to aid.

I attempted to create a civil cell of the approach (a simple approach at that) and I could not get it to function properly. I attached the picture of the end goal, mind you, I am not even trying to model behind the back of walk. I was thinking rather than creating a civil cell as I have different approach widths to apply, can I create a template for the full size curb and one for the approach and then transition between then two? If so, how do I transition between two 3D linear template?

If this is highly discouraged, is there anyone out there that could break down an explanation on how to create this civil cell? I understand that all of it needs to be created with the correct relationships but that's where I am struggling. Especially using multiple reference alignments to adjust the width of the approach.

After reading forums it appears as though in project explorer you can go under civil cells, right click terrain model and select "Add corridor clipping boundary". When I do so, nothing happens? Is it because my terrain model is not the correct/active one? All of my civil cells have Terrain Model as: Side road Pvmt, which is where I had civil cell tie to.
