OpenRoads - Terrain Model Issue ....Baffled and Need Direction

I have merged an ACAD Terrain Model into OpenRoads after running through Carlson (clean). After setting up the Graphic Filter Manager, I processed the OpenRoads Terrain Model only to see my OpenRoads Boundary (BOLD) spiking from the ACAD (THIN). All BLANKS were removed in ACAD. The only BLOCKS merged were the Spot Locations with descriptions. I removed the descriptions and compressed file prior to running Terrain Model in OpenRoads. I'm stuck.
