How to create Annotation Cells in ORD 2022 r3, where there is no option of XML files. Is there any configuration variable need to set prior to create Annotation cell.

If any one can record a small video in ORD 2022 r3 it will be really helpful.

Import Event point in the profile view of ORD2022

I have created Event points from the plan view in ORD2022, I want to import the event point in the profile view similar to Powercivil SS4. Is it possible in Open Roads Designer 2022 to import Event point. If so Please guide, if not when Bentley is going to add this important feature.

How to Annotate Horizontal cardinals (Station and Elevation from Surface) of the proposed Alignment in the profile View. If ORD have the capability to add points from the horizontal alignment it is easy to annotate the horizontal cardinals.

Hi all,

I am trying to annotate the intersecting/crossing alignment names of my ORD Profile drawings and can successfully do this using a Text Favourite Label.

Is there any way to implement this Text Favourite as in an Annotation Group to label all my intersecting/crossing points automatically when applying Profile Drawing Annotation? Or even as a cell for Element Templates?

Customizing Datum thru Grid shift files

I am in the process of customizing the new datum and Ellipsoid based on our company standards, the method is Grid shift files Nadcon format which is .las and .los files. Can any one guide me in OpenCities Map how to write or in what way the software will accept while defining in Edit Datum Properties. Please see the attached snapshot for more clarification.

How to copy vertical alignment from one DGN to the other DGN in profile view. The vertical alignment is created in Civil 3d and need to copy in the profile view to calculate the earthwork quantity in openroads designer.

OpenRoads Designer Named Boundaries

I already defined my named boundaries for Plan and profile Sheets at 500Scale and when I placed the named boundaries in Plan what I notice that the length of the named boundaries is not consistent, it is varying for every sheet. Did anyone notice about this behavior, if so why it is. Please see the snap shot.

Create Plan and profile, OK button is not activate

Hi,

When I am creating Plan and Profile drawings in Open Roads Designer, first I create Plan drawings thru Civil Plan by create drawing option off and in second step for create profile from plan group the OK button is not activated and hence can't able to create plan and profile sheets. Any reason for this, if any one experience this.

Annotate grid annotation after placing named boundaries

Is it possible to annotate the place boundary by any method after place boundary has been placed and at later stage wants to annotate the plan grid annotation but it is not working.

Any experience about this can be shared.
