I am working with a reality mesh that has been created by somebody else, I do not have access to the original ContextCapture project used to create the 3SM/3MX filles.

I would like to convert a section of the reality mesh into a colourised point cloud, not just the ground data but a whole piece of the reality mesh into a RGB colourised point cloud. This means the trees, the buildings, the vehicles and all the other objects in the reality mesh.

Can someone show me how this is done?

thanks

I am having difficulties with openroads concept station connect edition version 10.00.05.25

When creating a new project I receive the error message Visual geo location provider unavailable, use a seed file of concept location will be the coordinate system horizon. The issue is covered at the link below

communities.bentley.com/.../31541.not-seeing-map-getting-message-visual-geo-location-provider-unavailable-use-a-seed-file-or-concept-location-will-be-the-coordinate-system-horizon

Ive attempted to follow the instructions provided there and my proxy server tests comes back with successful.

However how can I tell if have issues accessing the websites due to a firewall conflict?

Is there any way I can check that access to the sites is working fine? Ive cut and paste all the links separately into my web browser and the only site that seems to have an issue is connect-contextservices.bentley.com as this site displays an error message that states " You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied". This sounds almost like an issue with a login to the site itself and not an issue with a firewall.

The full list of sites that Open roads will attempt to access is listed below

connect-contextservices.bentley.com/ (for GeoCoordination Services)

https://b.tiles.mapbox.com (for Map control)

ftp://rockyftp.cr.usgs.gov (for USGS files)

http://overpass-api.de (for OpenStreetMap)

If anyone could provide some guidance I would be very thankful

thanks in advance
