I did a truss analysis and I made it's bottom cord as double angle section. After doing analysis, it showed section failed due to slenderness. Then I used SELECT parameter and it gave me compatible section for bottom cord but I really want is double angle for bottom cord. Can you solved this problem?communities.bentley.com/.../3465.Structure1.std

slender member

How to design slender member according to BS 5950 2000 in staad? what are the parameters to be provided?

Steel truss

what is the procedure for analyzing for slenderness for member....since my staad file not giving results for slenderness...I want to check slenderness checking for Member 1

Whats the wrong with the codes????
