Could you please tell me how do we model a shear wall in staad pro connect edition?

I am unable to model it and unable to selected already modeled shear walls in building staad file.

How do we analyse and design shear wall in staad ce v22 and rcdc 9.0 using the IS code.The model is prepared in staad ce using the surface option and then imported into rcdc,but does not show up in rcdc as walls.Is there incompatibility.also where to design the strip footing for shear walls in rcdc or staad?

Positioning giving same group position number for different groups. I find 11 different groups. Program find only 7.

Staad advanced foundation design options

I am newbie to staad advanced foundation software.I have modelled a G+4 RCC building with normal loadings in Staad CE and then imported data into SFAcommunities.bentley.com/.../TestG4-Foundation.sfa.However,when carrying out the foundation design in SAF,at first design,it showed overlapping foundations as isolated footing.Then it was resigned as combined footing to which,again the footings overlapped.Can you please give any other design orientations as either isolated or combined footings by changing anyother settings.

Why am i having different footing dimensions in staad pro foundation, while i am using the same loading but different codes.

I thought footing dimension is a function of reaction/soil bearing capacity?

i noticed the minimum L&B British code can go is 1.3m

STADPro CE 22.0 with RCDC 9.0...all columns fails even after redesigns

i tried modeling a small RCC G+4 frame with IS code and tried doing column design in RCDC.It showed all columns failed in first try,and after re-designing sections it still showed all columns failed.I thot after re-design of sections it would arive at a column being passed but it still show all columns being failed.Is something wrong in my STD file or analysis part?.... Would be helpful if explained where my modeling is getting wrong or the process steps missed.
