My main priorities are providing presales support for our Analysis products in Asia. I was graduated in 1995 from University of Madras in Civil Engineering and I started my carrier as a design engineer in a consulting firm in Chennai. I did many steel and concrete structures predominantly using STAAD-III / ISDS as the primary analysis tool. Later, I joined Research Engineers, Chennai as a technical support engineer. During this time I was travelling extensively in South India for delivering seminars, presentations and trainings in STAAD- III. I completed my MBA during this time. I was transferred to Singapore office of Research Engineers in 2001 as Engineering Manager where I was doing Engineering Consulting services in addition to supporting our Structural products in Asia. My interest were mainly in special structures involving Non-Linear Cables, Machine supporting structures for vibrating loads, underground structures, large span roofs etc. During this time I was travelling extensively throughout Asia conducting seminars & trainings to promote STAAD.Pro in Asia. I also learned Stardyne (FEA software) and ADLPipe (Pipe stress Analysis software) during this time.
I joined Bentley through the Bentley's acquisition of Research Engineers in 2005. Here, I upskilled myself into RAM, AutoPipe, SACS, Prostructures, AECOSim Building Designer, Microstation, Bentley Navigator, Projectwise and Assetwise eB which are all well aligned to my interest.
