&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Weld size considered is leg size, whereas throat thickness should be considered.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Width of flange is considered as weld length even though the flanges are coped and effectively there is no weld.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
