RE: r13 Early Impressions
Mick Grove
What a hideous oversight! Do these programmers actually USE the software they "improve" ? I'm very annoyed with this one.

Bob Rayner
Thoughts- As a select sucker I realize I will be using Connect eventually. I tried it for a week a couple months ago. Didn't like it, mostly small stuff. Also it didn't solve any of the permanent issues I filed with v8i, a real disappointment. Most of…

Just to fill you in on Civil 3D - there are extra settings stored in Objects in Civil 3D files. Many of these are very similar to the settings save in the XIN file for InRoads. Others are things like Civil units - which can be Meters, International…

RE: [V8i] Units - Getting it Right - Feet - US Feet - Inches - US inches

Right, DWG is comparable to V7 DGN in that a unit is free for labeling - it is up to the user to call it whatever a real world unit it represents. I wonder if C3D supports coordinate readout of "US Feet-US Inches"? I assume it does, then I wonder how…
