I am using the Bentley ArcGIS Connector to create new DGN files from an Arc SDE DB and the problem I am having is setting the initial value for a property of a feature.

When I extract the spatial data I have a filter, as the SDE contains (or will once I get this working) lots of projects, set to only return data with a specific project id. This works great but when a new feature is placed the project id is blank, I would like it to automatically populate with the current Project id.

There is a table in the DB that is populated with project details, including the project id, before the spatial data is extracted by Project Wise.

So my question is: How do I connect the two tables? What do I need to do to populate the Project id text box of new feature when it is placed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I basically have been tasked with creating line styles where you select the line style you require and Microstation automatically assigns pre-determined weight and colour to the line style?

I cant see anything to assign colour and weight when creating the line styles in line style editor. Is this even possible?

Microstation V8i (SELECT series 3)

Thanks
