I am attempting to reference in a file which includes contour lines. When I reference it in, the contour labels DO NOT scale according to the drawing scale of the file into which it is referenced. All other references scale correctly (including other annotation text in the file with the contour labels). If I open the file with the contour labels in it and adjust the drawing scale there, the contour labels DO change according to the drawing scale.

The issue I am having appears to be the same as the issue experienced by this individual (to which no solution was provided):

https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/f/geopak-inroads-mx-openroads-forum/167534/annotation-of-terrain-contour-text-when-referenced---ord

If anyone could help me with this, I would appreciate it!

Open Rail Gridline and annotation Error

Hello,

I am trying to annotate profiles for a project using the FDOT workspace. However, we noticed that the annotated vertical curve cardinal points were not correct. They did not match the geometry report and are off by several hundredths of a foot. We did some trouble shooting and found that this errors only occur at vertical curves located in horizontal curves. We then further noticed that the curve length and location were correct, it was the stationing of the cardinal points themselves that was incorrect. We then realized that the grid lines in our profiles, in locations of horizontal curves, were more than 100 ft. Spaces between gridlines were 100.02 ft; so for a 300 ft curve the error in length goes up to 0.06 ft. Even worse for longer curves, obviously.

I have never seen a profile grid "warp" like this at a horizontal curve. I have searched and search in the profile creation tools and have no idea to make this stop. PLEASE NOTE: We are using Chord definition.

Any help is appreciated.

"Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope"

Thanks

I made a change to one of my surfaces and wanted to update the surface in my cross-sections. When I open the cross section tool I am unable to select my cross-section set. It is greyed out. (See image below) I have tried opening other files and I am having the same issue on those. This problem is not just on my PC, it was tested on other computers and is also happening there as well. Is there some file that is needed to access the cross-section cells or something? I tried redrawing a cell set and it didn't even recognize those either. What is the problem here?

Thanks
