&lt;p&gt;attaching both the verification manual as well as my staad foundation model of the pile cap. please have a look and let me know where it is going wrong.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&amp;amp; secondly, I&amp;#39;m using Indian code, when I don&amp;#39;t input the time period into the seismic definition and let the software to calculate it, the time period reported by staad pro software is the same in both X and Z direction whereas my building is having a different plan direction in X &amp;amp; Z.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;for different plan dimensions, the time period should be different in the X and Z direction.&lt;/p&gt;

Which one I need to be considering, max displacement of 25.054 mm or global y displacement of 158.212 for beam 321 for L/C 24 to cross-check whether this displacement is within the limit or not as per IS456 limit of Span/350?&lt;/p&gt;
