Did not check out Us design code

Hi. I recently converted a structural enterprise license to nodelock so I have checked-out a Staad pro license.

Included should be a US design code license which I mistakenly did not check-out. Hence I currently have a StaadPro license without any design code license.

Would it be possible to still check-out the design license from the license wizard? Or what steps can i take to secure my design code license?

COUNTRY OF USE

This question is plain idiotic, but I'll ask it anyway.

I just activated my enterprise license on a new laptop i got. Now after going through the motions, I realized that I'm not sure if I entered the correct country of use (but most probably I did place the correct country). I can't find anywhere to check what country I entered.

Is there a way to check the country entered? Ultimately, would entering the wrong country make a big difference?

How RAM SS designs composite beams with custom sections...

Hi,

I'm designing composite beams using custom I-beams (not typical W's) with smaller top flanges and bigger bottom flanges.

Since the resulting centroid of steel area is now lower, the lever-arm is larger. Hence greater bending strength.

Does RAM account for this? Or is it simply taking the lever arm to D/2? (D=steel beam depth)

Structural enterprise reinstall and license reconfiguring

Hi. I have a structural enterprise license and just a single computer using this. Today my computer crashed and i had to reformat the system. For reinstallment of the enterprise programs, is it just a simple re-install and then performing the activation wizard again? Or must i do something to make the select server aware that it's the same computer? It's re-configuring the license that really worries me.

RAM SHEARWALL REPORTS

Would there be any way to generate a report that summarizes all the shearwall design criteria? When i printout the section cut design reports and coupling beam design reports, it just goes straight into comparing the forces vs. capacity. There's no initial mention of the code, seismic criteria assumed, phi-shear, Cd, etc etc etc... that would be essential for reports.

Also, any possible way to capture the info on the view/update user-interface for the reports? It would be nice to be able to include those interaction curves, 3D screenshots, rebar layouts, etc etc... Seems currently there isn't even an option to print anything there.

RAM CONNECTION- DUCTILITY CHECKS SIMPLE CONNECTIONS

Does RAM Connection have ductility checks automatically built-in to the simple connection modules? (i.e. fin plate, cleat, etc..) Or is there a manual option that I'm supposed to tick? We're building just ~3miles from a major fault line, so it's essential that our simple connections will behave as pins. Thanks....
