    you can do this very easy in batch plot ( mdl load batchplt.ma) or with print organiser you just need a unique shape or cell as a print boundary but not sure if you can mixA3 and A4 its best they are all the same...so print as is then easy peazy But…

    Well I almost never use Global display or Global freeze, those are AutoCad influenced inclusions. View Display should do what you need, be sure to save settings after getting things how you need them.
