CIBSE Gain - Temperature rise

I understand that you get different heat gains in the following scenarios:

Within CIBSE gain tool allow temperature to rise by 1degC
Within room data increase summer design temp by 1degC

There is a calculation procedure for the first scenario in the Hevacomp manual, however can you advise where this calculation originates from? is it a CIBSE Guide etc?

I have created a new glazing type for use in the CIBSE Gain tool.

Now I want to create a second glazing type which includes a blind.

I have used the calculations in the CIBSE solar gain factor guide and modified all of the solar gain factors accordingly.

However, do I also need to change the following factors:

U Value

Light transmission

Shading co-efficient

SHGC
