How do I get the civil workflow menu to appear in the Task toolbar?

GEOPAK V8i SS2 compatibility with Power GEOPAK V8i SS2

I am using GEOPAK V8i SS2 08.11.07.615. I have cross sections from a client that were created with Power GEOPAK V8i SS2 08.11.07.620.

When I open the dgn file containing the design cross sections the cross section navigator gives me an message of "no cross sections stored in design file", also none of the cross section reports work (show no chains to select).

Is this a compatibility issue? Are there any work around? Any help is much appreciated.

Unable to load dictionary

I am using MS V8i (select series 2). When I click on the spell checker icon i get an error message "unable to load main dictionary". The spell check will then stop on every word regardless of it's spelling. I assume I have a path set wrong or a file missing. Any help is appreciated.
