Your Shape Orientation on the PL Feature Definition is set to Soffit. If you switch it to Invert you would get the 3D linestring on the bottom.

Hi Bo, What product and version are you using? Also, would you attach the dgn where you are seeing this issue? I can troubleshoot on my end. Holly
