&lt;p&gt;I am trying to change the orientation of my top and bottom chords for a truss model from the major axis to minor axis. I found multiple ways of doing it from other sources but not sure which is the best way to do so. Also when I did try to rotate it and opened the 3D rendering the 3D model does not show the updated beam rotation. It still shows the beams along the major axis, will the 3D rendering not show the new beam orientation?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am modeling a 3 span continuous beam in Staad Pro and I need to add an internal hinge at the middle of each beam. I know I have to cut the beam at that location and apply member releases to simulate the internal hinge. What boxes do I need to check off in the member release dialog to accurately apply the internal hinge.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have a simply supported steel truss model in staad pro CE in &amp;quot;STAAD TRUSS&amp;quot;, see Command File Line 1. I would like to model the top and bottom chords as beam members, but I get many warnings and errors. What is the best way to do this. I am also planning on replicating this truss to create a 3D model with a width span of 210 feet, 7 bays along the width. Once I create the 3D model I would also like to connect the trusses with beam members along the top and bottom chord members, any thoughts on how to model the beam members in 3D.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am modeling a steel joists truss in Staad pro&amp;nbsp;CE but I am having trouble on how to resolve the warnings and errors. I have a double angle for the top chord and custom section properties for the bottom chord since staad did not have the section I was looking for. I modeled the diagonal members as steel pipes. The truss is simply supported, pin and roller. I am getting many instability warnings. Any way I could reduce these warnings. I know I cant resolve all of them. I also added a spec, &amp;quot;MEMBER TRUSS&amp;quot; for all members, by adding the MEMBER TRUSS spec, does that eliminate the need to release the members for moment?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
