Text disappears when I copy or move

When I copy or move text it will disappear but then reappear when I zoom out far enough. When I initially move the text it will disappear and I cannot select it at all or get it to show up but as soon as I zoom out far enough it will show up and I can select and edit the text. What can I do to resolve this problem? It has been quite annoying and this is the only drawing it is doing this in. So I'm thinking it must be a setting it must be a setting somewhere I'm missing. This drawing does have references but it still does it even away from the references. Please let me know if there is anything you can do to help.

Creating Custom Line Styles

I'm trying to create an "S" sort of style line type that will flow together. I have created one with two partial arcs. I'm hoping to have the linetype with no gaps or overlaps at the verticies or end points. I have screen shots below. If there is anything anyone can do to help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I would like the "S" to start and end all at one point. Unlike how I have shown here.

Custom Line Styles

When I edit a custom line style that I've created the changes will not take affect unless I close microstation and re-open the drawing. Is there anyway it will update in the drawing without having to close and re-open?

Shape files to Microstation V8i

I'm trying to import county GIS data (shape files) into microstation and all of the line work comes in great. The only problem is the addresses and street names do not show up. They show up as nodes and all of the county data is associated with the nodes. Is there anyway the text can be imported into microstation along with the shape file? Or what would be the best way to resolve this problem?
