OSD import/export feature definitions

I'm trying to export and import feature definitions using OpenSite Designer. The Learn Server has a video for exporting/importing feature definitions using OpenRoads Designer, but it isn't working in OSD.

Anyone know if this feature just doesn't work in OSD?

OSD - Grading optimization with known import volume

Is there a way to run the OSD grading solver with a known import volume?

My client has indicated he has 12,000-cubic yards of dirt from another project that is available to use on a new site (import volume), in which case I'd like to run the grading solver with the assumption that I will want a deficit of 12,000-cubic yards resulting from the grading solver.

OSD Feature Definitions - New user setup

I'm a new OSD user, and I'm trying to set-up feature definitions and symbologies by saving the ones defined out of the box from the software installation.

For example, I would like to save-as the feature definition for "Site_Driveway_Heavy_Duty_Full_Depth_Asphalt", and define my own depths for asphalt and aggregate. It appears the pavement area is defined as a pad named "Site_Pavement_Heavy-Duty_Full_Depth_Asphalt" using a surface template named "Site Layout\Surface Templates\Heavy-Duty Asphalt Pavement 8"x2.5"x3", but I can find the location of the surface template.

Anyone know how to save-as a surface template and modify for custom material depths? See attached image.

OSD - Background map display

I'm trying to display the Bing aerial background map using the view attributes, but it isn't displaying.

I have a geographic coordinate system defined, and an internet connection, but I'm not sure if there are any other settings required. I've attached the file I'm trying to display the aerial image, if it helps.

Survey functions in OpenSite vs OpenRoads

Are the survey functions in OpenSite the same as the survey functions in OpenRoads?

I was told to come here instead of tech support. I'm looking to download GeoPak V8I SS4 version 08.11.09.87

My company has a license and I need to put it on a new machine. Under Software Downloads, it tells me there are no GeoPak downloads available at all. Is anyone able to help?
