Hi,

Is it possible to have workflow for Input files for string Generation in ORD. I have come across this in a Email for a seminar, refer SL No -7 in the attached picture, but I could not able to attend it.

If it possible to create string with input file in ORD please share it.

How to see different slope between two tangent in profile

Hi everyone

Could you please let me know how to see different slope between two tangent in profile?

For example: different slope = (slope of tangent 2 - slope of tangent 1)

My purpose for seeing different slope in order to decide whether the vertical curve should be placed or not.

I'm using OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition - 2020 Release 3 - Version 10.14.04.04

Hi everybody,

Have a nice day,

I'm starter on OpenRoads, and I see it differing with other software I know in designing roads.

For designing vertical profile, I met some difficult issue such as:

1. I don't know the vertical distance between terrain and design line

2. In horizontal curve, I can not see the horizontal PI on vertical profile

.....

Could you please share your experience or useful hint when designing vertical profile?

Such as: each step need to do, tips, ... which will help to accelerate design work.
