Hello, I am using ORD CE-2021 Release 2. I am having to work with an existing project that comes with roadway cross sections. However, the sections are presented as linework (static) type. Do I assume they are statice or is it that I am not connected…

Open Roads uses Terrain Elements stored in DGN files. The Project Explorer > Civil Model can be used to review what design elements are being used. You want to be in the 2D model of any file to see everything. The data can come from a reference file…

If you Box or Line select over the edge of the raster (which has the boundary when printed), does it show more than 1 in the element counter (selection set)?

I find when you use save as or export it transfers the acad colour table to maintain the acad colours in the mstn dgn , I prefer to ref merge into a dgn that has the level names and colours already then the acad linework will adopt the active mstn colour…

How are you printing? Using Print Organizer, one at a time, or something else? I can't say for certain, but I seem to recall that files needed to be printed with "Rasterized" ON for transparency to work. Since that's not part of your pentable, and is…

It's created in MicroStation. If you go to: File>Save-As in the Save-As dialog change the output to dgn and then click Options. You'll then see a Remap tab. Click on this and you'll see it uses a csv file. You can open and edit from the dialog or…

Are you able to check the config settings you have? You're looking for something like: _USTN_CAPABILITY < -CAPABILITY_LEVELS_ALLOW_CREATE This locks level creation and will move new levels not set in a dgnlib file to the default level.

For a colour to print colour the print setting must be 'true colour'. This means setting the pen table so that other levels and colours come out black.

In the old V7 days, where Mstn stored its basic coordinates as 32bit integers, we thought of the Design Cube as big array of points which a point or vertex could occupy. You then assigned a number of points or UOR's to equal a unit of measure like Meters…
