CopySelect basic macro (V8.5)

This is a basic macro to copy one or several selected elements to the same location. Works well if you want to copy (part of) a reference file. It has an undo funtion in case you mess up. It is an English version, translated from the Dutch version we wrote in our office. It works with a fence as well.

Unpack: Unzip to the location where MS_MACRO points to.

How to use: Select elements you want to copy, KeyIn "macro CopyselectE".

Good luck

Note: The macro merely creates a duplicate of a selected item in the current design. The macro was ment to create cutouts from large references.
E.G. If you have an empty file, reference something to that, select items from this reference on screen and then activate the macro... it will copy the selected items into your current design, nothing more. It's a one-shot thing, so once it's finished, it's really finished. No more action, no file swapping. When you refuse to select or fence, it will prompt you to do so and abort. (You'll need to refire the macro then.)

What it does NOT do:
It does not create a backup of any file.
It does not create a new file with your selection copied in it.
It does not put stuff on the clipboard.
