Bill of Materials report is crashing. Report Writer: Cannot export to a file C:\Documents & Settings\All Users\Application Data\Bentley\Plant V8i\Reports\BOMCAD.TXT Invalid File Name
This will happen when the version of Crystal Reports (runtime) provided with AutoPLANT is conflicting with the version of the RPT files used. This only happens if users have customized their RPT files.
Currently, AutoPLANT Plant Design V8i SelectSeries 3 comes with a runtime version of Crystal Reports 11.5 (which is compatible with CR 12 2008 as well).
Downgrade the runtime version of Crystal Reports. (Note: This is the free fix... contact Bentley Technical Support's AutoPLANT group to get the runtime version of Crystal Reports 9.

Upgrade the full version of Crystal Reports and then save the custom RPT files in the current version.
