Product Description
LEAP Bridge Steel V01.00.00.01 represents the inaugural release of the new Bentley product focused on steel bridges. LEAP Bridge Steel (LBS) compliments LEAP Bridge Enterprise. The product supports 3D modeling, design, analysis, and load rating of straight and curves steel I-girder bridges consisting of single or multiple spans. LBS utilizes a state-of-the-art user interface employing DGN Navigator for all graphic views. Key components of this inaugural release follow:

Direct import of horizontal alignment, vertical profile, and ground data from Bentley Civil applications – GEOPAK, InRoads, and MXROAD
Instant 3D visualization of the bridge superstructure and substructure

Straight, curved, and skewed I-girder bridges
Horizontal alignment and vertical profile
Roadway/deck surface
Piers and abutments, normal and/or skewed to the alignment
Deck slab definition including flared slabs and deck placement sequence

Extensive library of standard rolled steel shapes

User-defined dead load: uniform, trapezoidal, and point loads

Quick Install Guide
To install, run the installation .exe file and follow the prompts. All prerequisites will be installed as required. LEAP Bridge Steel will install under “Program Files (x86)\Bentley\LEAP Bridge Steel” by default.
