MicroStation C# Add-in to Place Latitude/Longitude labels

Geolabel C# Addin for MicroStation V8i/Bentley Map V8i/CONNECT Edition

This MicroStation V8i C# addin, basically is another version of a VBA application (version 02) was developed to generate text labels containing latitude/longitude values based on the currently geographic coordinate system and was based on the key-in: label reference from MicroStation Geographics and Bentley Map V8 XM

Installation Instructions

Geolabel.dll should be copied into the folder <ProgramFiles>\...MicroStation\mdlapps\

To load Geolabel

For V8i platform -> KEY-IN: MDL LOAD GEOLABEL

or

from Utilities > MDL Applications > Browse, select Geolabel.dll

For CONNECT Edition plaform -> KEY-IN: MDL LOAD GEOLABELCE

or

from Utilities > MDL Applications > Browse, select GeolabelCE.dll

To execute (run) Geolabel

KEY-IN: GEOLABEL LOADFORM START

Using the tool

This tool use the currently active text settings: font, height, width, justification. However, you can use the standard MicroStation Text options or use the Options dialog from this tool to change basic text settings.

Use the extended settings to change text offset options (in working units)

Use the options dialog to change basic text settings or use the button  to match text settings (font, height and width) from any text and textNode elements.

Application tested using: MicroStation V8i SS3/SS4, Bentley Map Standalone V8i SS4 and Bentley Map Enterprise SS4 and MicroStation CONNECTEdition (update 9).
