Nothing special - a simple bedroom modeled in Microstation V8i. All objects are modeled in Microstation, no imported meshes. HDRI lighting, no interior lights.

Fantastic, grate job!!!!! I'm a Brasilian Architect and used microstation since 2001. You have a amazing work!!!!!
Thanks Cara!
I often use imported components, free stuff from 3d warehouse or other sites. In this test I created everything myself just because I wanted to make some close up renderings and have full control over texture mappings and details. There are still some limitations in Microstation when comes to texturing and UV-mapping.
I do use a lot of free hdri files, but the ones I'm using the most are bought from Dosch Design - high quality HDRIs: https://www.doschdesign.com/products/hdri
Thanks for comparting my renderings with Maxwell Render. I have used Maxwell Render a lot, and I find that Luxology comes closer to the maxwell quality for each update.

Your visuals are fantastic - the depth and enviroment on your scene reminds me of Maxwell Render! Do you suggest using only your own modeled components for scenes? Also where do you get your hdri files and materials - do you make your own? I find it very difficult not to get a blue/grey tone on a scene when using most internet free hdri files.
