In this course we will examine how point clouds are handled in Bentley products. We will consider three applications: Bentley Pointools, MicroStation and Bentley Descartes. As we explore these applications we will pay particular attention to the mechanics of point cloud manipulation and visualization as well as the extraction and creation of data from point clouds.
