PC smart snap unlocks all the time

Hi, 
 
 I am trying to use smart snap within Descartes (activated from PowerInroads 08.11.09.722) to redraw bridge point cloud. Unfortunatelly smart snap unlocks all the time. I can add one or two vertexes and suddenly smart snap settings are unlocked. 
 
 any idea, any tip using that tools?

OK, I think figured that out. I thought that buttons on a toolbar indicates that cilinder range is on/off and it is just to set values there. What a timesaving tool! Great!
