ABOUT THE SIZE OF OBJ MODELS USED FOR EDITING IN 3DSMAX

Hi Bentley, 

We're running a simulation project so that all models have to export to OBJ file for editing in 3DSMax. However the exported files made by a large number of polygons (Img.: roughly 200,000 faces for a street corner) , then it's maybe impossible if we have to build larger areas.

By any way If your Software can adjust the acurate amount of faces (polygons) of exported 3D models ? Or if it doesn't, do you have any suggestion about third softwares that have retopologize tools for 3D models ?

    Thanks for your reply, I forgot to mention about the software. Now we are using Bentley ContextCapture Master and aerial data from UAV to create 3D models ( for our navy simulator project ). As I said, OBJ. files production have too much polys (faces) and our problem is decreasing the number of polys(faces) as much as possible for editing in 3DsMax.

    Here's our latest model, it's quite amazing but it's too hard for our Simulator software if we want to expand the captured area.

    Any suggestion will be appriciated.
