POD Creator -import FLS - DLL upd

Question

Dear Felix, Ben, 
 In order to import recent FLS (faro scan format) with POD Creator, I have followed the procedure you&rsquo;ve described in the Bentley Communities. 
 
 The update DLL procedure works well for Bentley Descartes & Microstation. 
 
 However it doesn&rsquo;t work with POD Creator (we still get &ldquo;failed&rdquo; message when importing FLS). 
 
 Could you please have a look to this issue and tell me how to fix that ? Please understand that PODCreator is really suitable for batch conversion. 
 
 In attachment I send you the bat (32bits for PODCreator ; 64bits for Pointools). 
 
 PS: The direct FLS to POD export in FARO Scene soft doesn&rsquo;t work well. There are remaining significant misalignments between scans. It is obvious that it is a bug from FARO. We have double checked that with a 3 rd soft. That&rsquo;s the reason why FLS import is the only reliable solution to get exact scan adjustments from FARO Scene process.

Hi Antoine, 
I have definitely tested this and it works. I'm not sure why it would fail for you. Have you tried it on a different workstation?

Thanks for the reply. 
However please note that I used the Faro Scene 5.4 SDK, that's the reason why I can say FLS to POD conversion works with Descartes &Microstation (same DLL update) but not with POD Creator. Yesterday I tried to remove (unistall + CCLeaner) POD Creator , then applied again the procedure of your post . 
 
==> Same issue. 
 
I don't know what to do then to make POD Creator working with FLS from Faro Scanner laser...
