(ContextCapture) How to add Image measurements

I have imported precise coordinate of 3 control points to the Control points editor (long, lat, height). Now i'm stuck at adding image  measurements. I have choose 2  same measurement position from 2 photos for each control point (by using shift-click) but it still report that the number of usable measurements is 0 (did't know thevestimated longtitude, latitude..) . Did I miss any steps?

  • Hi,

First, the SRS you have chosen (WGS84) is a geographic coordinate system. With this SRS, the longitude/latitude coordinates of the control points should be between -180 and 180 for longitude and -90 and 90 for latitude. But, the coordinates I see in your control points appear to be values of projected coordinate systems.

You need to do the following:
    1) Define the right SRS for your control points.
    2) Import the control points.
    3) Record your 3 control points in a minimum of two images each.
    4) Save and close the "Control points editor" window.
    5) submit the Aerotriangulation.

  • Hi Pascal,

You was right that I had imported the wrong format of longitude/latitude coordinates (Degrees Minutes Seconds instead of Decimal Degrees).
I was surveyed these control points in VN2000 (X,Y,H ; L=105, zone: 3), then convert them to WGS84 (B,L,H) by Geotools. So now what SRS should I choose for these coordinates (VN2000 or WGS84 or WGS84/UTM zone 48N ...ext..., the differences of EPSG ?) ?

    Thank you.
