  • Hi,
in Microstation you can export your work in LumenRT, not open it.

Regarding the error message attached, please try to uninstall and install again the software.

    If it does not work:

    1) Make sure the graphics drivers on your machine are fully updated

    2) Right click on the folder: Program Files\e-on software\LumenRT 2015\LumenRT\bin

and make sure you have the proper privileges to run.

    3) Temporarily disable your virus protection and try running LumenRT

    Let me know

  • Hi Mara,

after i have done your possible ways, it´s not possible to open it again. Reinstall the software, disable the virus protection and updating the graphics drivers. And the prober privileges of the named folder.

I have seen on the website of e-on software, that a user has the same problem.
    www.e-onsoftware.com/.../viewtopic.php;t=8441#p43713

I think the system requirements of my machine are correct to open it.

    OS: Windows 7 professional (64bit)
    CPU: Intel Core i7
    RAM: 32 GB
    Graphic Card: GTX 680 (Geforce)

To open the software, is it important that i have an internet connection?

I have an internet connection to browse with a web browser, but some utilities can´t open. For example: remote desktop connection.
If i want to connect to an other machine with "dyndns", it follows a fault message that my network is not activated to remote desktop connection.
Could it be, that there is a network setting wrong to open lumenrt? But i can open MicroStation successful.

  • Hi Marc,

there is no reason to have internet connection to open LumenRT.
I have also test in my pc and it works as expected.

As suggested in the forum you have mentioned, try this:

    1) Go to the \Windows\System32 folder
    2) Delete any existing DirectX files (d3dx9_43.dll, d3dx10_43.dll and d3dx11_43.dll)
    3) Run the NVIDIA GeForce Experience setup.

Just to know: did you try to export a file using Micorostation into LumenRT? does it work as expected?

    regards
