You may be able to resolve this by adjusting the Camera Near Plane setting in the animation tool bar:

If you're company have a Bentley SELECT agreement you will be able to download and install the latest version of Bentley Pointools CONNECT Edition at no extra cost.

Our company uses V8i and has no plans to upgrade at the moment. The site is made from 4 POD files, right now only one is loaded (about 10gigs, 1.2 billion points). I may try to unify my clouds in cyclone and export as 1 e57, instead of 4 separate files.

What version of Pointools are you running? Have you tried Pointools Version 10.00.00.17? Have you tried doing an export in Pointools and creating a new POD file?
