Descartes Connect?

Hi,

So now that Microstation connect has been out for a while, dare i ask..., is there a date for when Descartes for microstation connect is planned to be released?

Also i am realy curious if the first release will just be a ported version of the exsisting descartes Vi8, or if there are additional changes/ improvements done to descartes.

Hi,

we plan to release a first version of Descartes CONNECT on Q3. There will be some new capabilities related to Reality Modeling to process Reality Meshes created by ContextCapture. However, we won't have ported all the tools for that first version.

Could I know what are the key capabilities of Descartes that you are looking for on CONNECT ?

Hi Ben,

That sound good. I am looking forward to it, as i prefere to use Microstation connect over vi8.
Well i have been trying out this tool in the link below, and there are a few things that i would love to see in descartes.

I espesialy found these 2 tools relay useful:
Automated pipe extraction tool.
Pattern extract for beams/boxes.

Hi Oto,

we are actually too close to the release. We will release it before end of July.

Could I know what you are specifically interested in?
