Pattern Library

Pattern library needed/missing. Can anyone please link me to the basic pattern library for download online. i have searched and searched and i am not having much luck. I have the full version of Decartes. The pattern library is not in the usual location in ProgrammData\Bentley\DescartesStandAlone V8I (Select series 6)\workspace\system\patterns. i just did get a pattern folder which i thought was odd seeing as we brought the latest version a few weeks ago.

I installed Descartes Standalone 08.11.09.720 and I found pattern.ma in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\DescartesStandAlone V8i (SELECTseries 6)\DescartesStandAlone\mdlsys\asneeded folder. I was able to do Settings > Render > palette and select a material. To me it looks like Pattern is being delivered with Descartes Standalone.

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer me. Unfortunately i think i missed out a vital word. HATCH Patterns eg concrete / sand / cork is what i am looking for

Kelly,

What version of Bentley Descartes Standalone are you running? I am running Bentley Descartes Standalone 08.11.09.720.

Under Task > Drawing you should see the Patterning Tools.

Also under Tools you should see Patterning

You can click on Open as Toolbox and place the Patterning toolbox

Thanks again for answering. However i know how to activate the hatch pattern tool. its the library of hatches i am missing. I have had the same library in every company iv worked for so i am assuming that its a very basic standard feature of Microstation.
Hatch Pattern / Pattern Search / File Attach / ?????? Where is the pattern library to attach at this point.
