I've noticed that sometimes you have to reclassify points from ground to created and vice versa. So my question is can you import a 3MX and extract a classified POD from it. Then once your done editing the classified points if needed, then extract a STM from that POD file? IN Descartes?

RE: DEM/DSM Extraction

Attached is a link showing Ground Extraction in Descartes Connect Edition
This cannot be done in ContextCapture. However you can use ContextCapture to generate the mesh and bring this into Bentley Descartes where you can use the Ground Extraction tool to create a point cloud of just the ground data as you require.
