Re: Checking which version is suitable

Good morning. 
 I have just started at a new company and been asked to check which version of Descartes I need to have to run with Microstation V8i (Select series 3). I can't find the information readily. Any thoughts or pointers.

Hi Kenneth, 
 the only available version of Descartes for Microstation SS3 is: 08.11.09.601. 
 Since the Microstation version compatible is: 08.11.09.608 but it is not longer available, I suggest to you to submit a Service Request in order to check if your Company is eligible to obtain the Setup file here:

The attached link may be of help to make sure you are running compatible versions of MicroStation and Bentley Descartes for MicroStation. Make sure you click on the gray arrow on the left side so you see the MicroStation dependencies for the version of Bentley Descartes for MicroStation.

If you are currently running MicroStation and Descartes and you are going to upgrade it is recommended that you uninstall Descartes and then MicroStation and clean up the files and folders where they were installed and then install MicroStation and Bentley Descartes for MicroStation.
