System Resources Not being used fully during AT

Hi All, 
 
 I have noticed in the later stages of AT that my computer's resources are not being used to their fullest. I have an i7 5700 with a GTX 1080 GPU and 32GB ram. The project in question is 34gigpixels (2036 images). The AT sat at 64% for 3hours and has now been sitting at 80% for 3hours. The system monitor says that the CPU is only working at 15%, 4GB ram and GPU is idle. The AT has been running for 10hours now and I would have thought the CPU and GPU would be maxing out crunching the numbers. Is there something I can do to force it to use more resources? or is this common? Is there a reason?

Hi Chris, 
Unfortunately there is nothing you can really do, sometimes some projects are having trouble converging quickly in the low-level engine. 
This is related to the amount of photos but not only, the structure of the scene itself might impact the performance of some inner steps iterations. 
GPU is not used during AT.
