Context Capture + Descartes retouch native dgn crash everytime

Hello,

I use ContextCapture 4.4.5.33 and Descartes for Microstation Connect 10.04.00.46

I try to retouch dgn file as describe in video tutorial. Everytime, Microstation freez everything and I have to restart the computer !!!

I try with all file, tilied file, and the result is the same, crash and not possible to do anything after freez !!!

Windows 7 Enterprise, 32 Go Ram, NVIDIA Quadro K4000 !

Have you the same problem ?

there is nobady here !!! still not possible to delete something without crash. Please help

Hi Fabrice,
Can you try updating to the latest version of Descartes (10.0.1.33) or for Descartes for MicroStation (MicroStation 10.5.0.40) and then trying again. If you are still having a problem after this please raise a service request https://connect.bentley.com.

I have your model.dgn file. At what point does CC Editor Freeze? What is you workflow?

With Microstation and Descartes, I was able to start to delete a part of the design.
But with CC Editor, I just open the file and try to turn off one view and then freeze !!! Not possible to do more !!

Hi Fabrice,
I had a look at the DGN and edited it successfully in CC Editor, Descartes and MicroStation. I can't replicate your problem. Are you having this problem with any file (meshes created for retouch) or just this one?

Hi Felix,
First time , I was able to retouch one file, but it was very slow. And after start to crash, and then freeze and not possible to edit other one !

Hi Fabrice,
This does appear to be a system specific problem. Can you ensure that your system is fully up to date and that you are using the latest driver for your graphics card. We would recommend that the latest driver from the manufacturers website be used. Also, ensure that you have no other processes running that may be conflicting or using your system resources. The process on my system was not immediate (it takes a few seconds to delete the mesh) but it does not freeze.
