I was interested in knowing more about the threshold for Hole-filling within the ContextCapture reconstruction settings. At the moment there is only two options “Fill all holes” and “Fill small holes only”. What makes a hole being “small”? Having a “Do not fill holes at all” will be extremely useful. Currently the problem I’m experiencing is that in areas not covered by photographs Context capture creates geometry which doesn’t really exist. This leads sometimes to misleading results since it is difficult to know which portions are actually “reality” and which ones are added when filling “small” holes. A “do not fill holes at all” option would solve this issue and would return only actual geometry. As well will help in identifying areas which would require additional photos.
