Check using OCCTP if it pass power supply benchmark in full load(GPU+CPU) without restart or overheating - http://www.ocbase.com/index.php/download

If it passes then check Windows timeout detection and recovery (TDR) value in registry - https://communities.bentley.com/products/3d_imaging_and_point_cloud_software/f/contextcapture-descartes-pointools-forum/126763/contextcapture-windows-timeout-detection-and-recovery-tdr-error

open regedit then go to the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers

Check <TdrLevel> key that is set to (0) which is the value you should have by default. If not edit the value. Contextcapture disables TDR so Windows doesn't reset driver when GPU doesn't respond. Of course if there will be issue then computer may freeze.

Also check Event viewer after restart for logged issues, if there is no issues logged it could indicate failing hardware. What GPU you have?
