We acquired high definition imagery along both sides of a roadway in order to produce a model. We were able to process the imagery with GCPs using several different settings. Each time we got the same result of a rippling or bumpy effect on the road surface. Is there a setting or step that we are missing to produce a smoother model?

This is a known limitation of ContextCapture. Given that road asphalt is mostly devoid of image features (i.e. : image region that can be matched between 2 or more pictures) it is difficult to correctly model it.
One possible way to improve the result is if you have the point cloud modeling the road, then you could try using both the pictures and the point cloud of the road.

This is one of reasons why the CC models are not directly usable in LumenRT the cars jump on these bumps. Funny to look but not great for presentations.
