I am trying to reduce the meshes of OBJ file using Decimate Meshes; I did select the area of model to reduce and click on Decimate Meshes, select the reducing ratio on pop up windows, but nothing appends. Descartes is asking to confirm (on the bottom left area, information/hint box) the action, but how? thank you in advance!Simon.e
Hi Simone,
.obj file are only supported in read-only mode as far as I know, so you should not be able to modify meshes present in the .obj file.

thank you for your replay.
actually I had a look on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEqsEQZsF_8 and it looks like it is possible to import obj and modify (well, in this specific case, user is going to delete part of the model, not changing the properties.)
