Hello, I am trying to find a way to delineate the locations of speed bumps in a road network from mobile terrestrial lidar point clouds. the idea is to create a process that will identify them quickly for export into GIS in the form of polylines or even just points. obviously i could just look for their characteristic shape using the advanced sections tool running down the road center line, but is there a more efficient way to find them? forgive me if this is an obvious question, I am still very new to descartes.
Hi Alexander,
If the speed bumps have some kind of road painting along them you might want to try using Bentley Descartes 3D Line Following tool.
