Slanting section after AT - what is this? How do you fix?

Hi there,

I'm trying to create a 3d model of a site in Australia. After running the AT i get a bunch of photos that just go off on a different plane and a corresponding section of points that run off with them. Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone know that the fix is?

  • Hi Brett,

I recently processed images shot with the Parrot Anafi drone. We flew four circular flights, like interlocking rings. The initial AT results had several slanted solutions mixed together like your screenshot.

I was able to get a good AT result by changing the AT Setting for Tangential Distortion to Adjust

Here's a screenshot of my AT using Keep for Tangential Distortion

Here's a screenshot of my AT using Adjust for Tangential Distortion

(Notice the nice yellow interlocking rings of camera positions)

The final mesh production turned out great.

    Regards,
    Ron
