HiI need help to solve the problem to merge point cloud from aerial and close range...the point cloud position are not at their original position. Some of the point cloud are on air and i already make a tie point for each object but still doesn't work. I also have problem to filter the point cloud by using contexcapture. Does contexcapture editor can filter point cloud and produce 3D mesh? I hope you guys can help me to solve these problem.
By point cloud you mean sparse points after aerotriangulation? Contextcapture won't filter it the model will be broken with double walls or surfaces. You have to fix aerotriangulation or drop photos which cause problems. Also it seems there is too much difference between close and aerial range.
Which camera is used?
i used Dji phantom 4 camera.....what means by too much difference between close and aerial image? its that the altitude flying?
my mesh model became like this .
The part you are referring to seems to be outside of photo coverage it is more like in background and not foreground. Try using precalibrated camera :https://communities.bentley.com/products/3d_imaging_and_point_cloud_software/w/wiki/26457/how-to-calibrate-your-camera-using-contextcapture
thats mean i need the camera calibration data...is that right..what about i dont have camera calibration data?
You reuse calibration from your other project or just go outside and do any other object for calibration.
