Do you require a license for CC Viewer

They can register user for connection client even without SELECT/CSS. At least there is no more difference between CCviewer delivered with CC and seperate download.

Thanks for the response. As far as I know an inter connection is still needed to use the viewer.  A number of my clients in isolated communities in Northern Canada do not have internet connections and if they do, the connection is not reliable or very expensive as they use satellites phone technology for access.  These clients use standalone software such as  ESRI Arcexplorer, Adobe Reader, Autodesk TrueView etc.  to view documents, CAD/GIS files without being connected to the Internet. They will question why the same is not true for 3D meshes from Context Capture.  Other clients will find it inconvenient to maintain a Bentley user/login just to use the viewer.  Bentley should consider all clients not just those who sit in offices in big cities with fingertip internet access.

It says that I am using a "trial' version which will expire in 7  days.

Try to do a "reserve license" in license manager at least for Bentley View it doesn't seem to ask to login after 7 days.

Thanks for the response.  This works for me, but my clients do not have access/licenses to the Bentley software so they can't reserve licenses.  I am supplying them with an older version of the viewer, but I don't know if this will work in the future.  Bentley indicates that they are looking at it may have an update.

What I mean they could try to create new login with any email and it should allow to borrow licenses for free products.

That's is a good suggestion.  I will suggest that to my clients.  One of the clients is a large government organization and depending on the project they may have 15-20 engineers reviewing the project.  They probably won't be happy to have each person create  a Bentley login (security may not even allow this) to borrow licenses, but I will see.  It's much easier to provide an .exe for the viewer with the production files and they just install on the computers as necessary.

No need for each just create one email and reuse. I do not see any reason why unCONNECTED private users would need to login in connection client as they are not related to any organization if not registered by account admin.
